What you’ll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, eating and personal hygiene.
• Help with mobility and exercise as directed in the care plan and within the caregiver role. A caregiver does a nursing task only after an RN assesses and delegates it for the specific client, caregiver, setting and task.
• Prepare meals, shop or accompany clients on errands, and maintain household routines.
• Support outings and appointments; observe and promptly report changes or incidents.
• Follow safety procedures and respond responsibly to emergencies.

What you’ll bring

• At least one year in healthcare, hospitality or in-home care.
• High school education or equivalent; caregiving, CNA/HHA experience or CNA training.
• A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to perform the role’s physical duties, including lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for varied shifts, potentially nights and weekends.
• A compassionate approach, willingness to learn and commitment to safety. Some assignments require Hoyer lift experience.
